What you’ll do
Upon arrival at the farm you will explore the vast farm area with a walking tour. You can see and learn about the multi-species mixes we plant and the biodiversity this creates within each field. You will meet our Jersey girls, watch the milking process in our parlour and Sam and Gemma will engage in a Q&A for any questions you may have about our low impact style of farming. We will then take you to see our processing room – where the magic happens! We will explain the machinery and process used to pasteurise our rich milk, the bottling process and the journey from milk to ice cream. We will also serve up delicious treats for you to try. You will leave the experience with a glass bottle of the freshest Jersey milk to take home and enjoy and a new understanding of sustainable, natural, organic farming!
Where you’ll be
Deep in the Devon countryside you will see and explore our 400-acre working farm. The majority of the experience will be out in the elements starting with a farm tour of the land and our lush green paddocks. Heading into the shelter of the barn for the milking experience and a Q&A with Sam. Down at the processing room you can glimpse inside to see how our products are made.

"A wonderful experience unique to Devon. We loved getting to see the friendly and surprisingly photogenic jersey cows up close, having a shot at milking, learning about the cows and tasting the delicious ice-cream. Our group loved the trip and it was the highlight of our trip to Dartmoor."

"Sam was a kind, thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable host and he taught us all about where the milk comes from and how the process is done with the ethical treatment of the cows and sustainability at the forefront of their practice. His passion for what he did shone through and it was a real pleasure to meet him."

"My husband and I had a unique experience with Sam and his team today. We were both greeted with smiles from a woman named Ellie. Sam shared much about his mastery and the farm. We got to meet and interact with the quiet and well kept cows too. It is great to see the farming sector has a passionate and well-versed company providing excellent quality milk, knowledge and outstanding ice cream"

"From milking to learning about different aspects of organic farming, from the various kinds of grass that grow in the fields to how the cows are kept and cared for, we thoroughly enjoyed our session with Sam. We even got treated to a bottle of his organic milk and a tub of his delicious ice cream at the end of the experience."
