We grow and supply a variety of native and non-native cell grown trees, shrubs and hedging saplings here on the northern edge of Dartmoor. We can offer advice and consultation on tree planting projects, assist with site preparation, the planting of trees and shrubs as well as aftercare services.

We are here to help if you are planning:
- To restore hedgerows or plant new ones
- Woodland creation and restoration
- Hedge and woodland management and maintenance including hedge laying, coppicing and ground work preparations

We are also Forest Gardening Level 2 accredited (Crossfields Institute) and offer consultancy with forest garden and food forest design, preparation and implementation.
All our trees are grown as sustainably as possible. We source British seeds as local as possible to our nursery. Our compost is naturally produced from our farm and peat free. We have invested in durable, reusable pots for the duration of the sapling’s life with us and beyond, to eliminate single use plastic on site. We use a UK based provider for our wool mulch mats and harvest rainwater to hydrate our plants. We understand the importance and encourage our plants to form a symbiotic relationship with mycorrhizal fungi by inoculating compost or root dipping prior to planting on.

It has never been more important to plant trees for its monumental benefits to the environment. Planting trees increases carbon sequestering, habitat creation, air filtration, flood prevention and decreases soil erosion. There are enormous human health and wellbeing benefits alongside opportunities for food production from nuts and fruits. We are here to help you make a difference.
